On Friday, I started looking for a local professional piano tuner and cleaner. After a quick Google search, I found the Mount Prospect-based Key Tone Piano Services. From the moment I called, John was very friendly, and we scheduled an appointment for yesterday.Prior to showing up, John called me ahead of time to let give me a heads up. When he showed up, he wore a mask and took appropriate COVID-19 precautions. From there, he took a few pieces off the piano and I left him to it.This was probably the second time in our piano's lifespan that it had ever been tuned, and the previous owners didn't use it much, so there was a lot to do.
