Today I took my son for his first haircut in months. My son has autism and haircuts can be very hard for him and me. Some days are good for him and some days (like today) are not. Once he got in the chair he started to have a breakdown and I wasn't that far behind him. However the people at new style (students, employees, and even other customers) were beyond amazing in trying to help my son get through his haircut. It means a lot to me to be able to take my son somewhere and have people be understanding and helpful rather than feeling judge and words can’t explain just how much I appreciate everyone that was there today. The students at Newstyle were fantastic & super delicate and kind with my two daughters. They both have very curly hair & got shampooed and trims by two different students. They both took their time & made sure they were doing it correctly because curls can cause major shrinkage and they wanted to make sure they were doing everything right from start to finish! We appreciate how they went about everything! My girls and I will be back again for future business.

Great atmosphere, friendly & knowledgeable teachers always there to lends a helping hand or give some input when the students ask. I absolutely love the opportunity this place is giving for those wanting to get into the hair field.
