KONE Elevators & Escalators of the Quad Cities

My family & I visited the KONE Centre in Moline, IL, USA on Monday, August 5, 2019. They were so nice to our family and made me feel delighted and like a King!! I'm obsessed with elevators, but I still learned so much!! The first thing that they showed us was the destination technology. That is a smart panel that tells me which is the fastest elevator to take. They use solar panels to power the whole building. We went to the call center and talked to parts people too. Brody, Mike, Jerry, Mary, and John, showed us how quickly they answer calls and find parts to keep elevators working all over the USA. Their KONE technicians can fix KONE Elevators and other kinds of elevators. Joe showed us the training Center. I've known Hydraulic Elevators go to 2-6 floors. Traction Elevators go to 7, 8, and higher floors. Traction Elevators sometimes go to 4-6 floors too, but rarely. I've known this for 8 years. Although, I didn't know that Traction is better because it's better for the environment, since Hydraulic uses oil.
