A tree had fail on my father's roof about 4 yrs ago, it damaged the roof as well as the chimney. A salesman came out and my dad signed a contract. The roof wasn't properly installed. The roof started leaking and destroyed the furnance as well as the hot water heater. My father had to pay out of pocket to get them repaired, bc insurance wouldn't pay. The company said they are licensed and bonded, but they aren't. My father is stuck with a leaking roof which might damage the furnance and hot water heater. We haven't been able to get a hold to anyone. My dad was told Get A Pro went out of business. I do not recommend this company to anyone. A big SCAM. They should be ashame preying on the elderly.

HCI Get a Pro (HCI Marketing) is/was company build on LIES. I had them install roof on my house and that turned out to be the worse decision I've made. They guaranteed their work for 20 years, but try to contact them is impossible. Shingles falling off the roof after 4 years and the phone numbers they provided are not active anymore. About to turn that case to LAWYERS, it might be the only language owners will understand. Stay away from that outfit. Extremely unhappy costumer.

I answered an internet advertisement for a Kohler walk-in- whirl pool tub. A salesman came to my home and made a pitch to sell me a Kohler Walk-in-tub. At this point I assumed I was dealing with Kohler and signed a contract for installation of a walk-in tub I trusted the Kohler name and felt that their price would be in line and I would be treated fairly, (big mistake on my part)! I found later that the contract was with "Get-a-Pro" company of Moline IL, not Kohler. The total price for the tub and installation was $19,200 including a nonrefundable down payment of $3,840. There was nothing unusual requiring extra work to prepare the site for installation which could account for this price. I was told by the salesman that someone would call within five day to schedule the installation. This never happened. The salesman did not leave a copy of the contract, why? Was he afraid I would do diligence, make comparisons, and back out of this bad contract? I asked the salesman to email a copy to me. Installation was started 5/20/2019 and complete in two + days, not one day as advertised. No sub floor repair was required. Addition of an electrical sub panel was not required as called for in the contract. I didn't realize it didn't have "stand-up-two-hands-free" shower capabilities, which I really wanted. I assumed this would be a standard feature. To date no written warranty terms have been provided by Kohler or Get-a-Pro. What does lifetime warranty mean? Who's or what's lifetime? The installer broke off a chip in the fiberglass/acrylic bottom lip of the main top rail at the front left of the gap panel. He said someone from Kohler would be out to fix it shortly. I'm not holding my breath. I expected to pay top dollar for a Kohler Product but even at that, I think this cost was about twice the average.
