I attempted to do what I thought was a minor repair on a new dress. It was not to my liking. I googled tailor in my area and New York Tailor was the closest. I called, Raj told me to come on over. I took him the dress, explained what I had attempted to do. He had me put it on and gave me suggestions. What I thought was a minor repair turned out to be a complete makeover. What he did with my dress was unbelievable. It looks better than I ever could have imagined much better than what I had in mind. He is convenient very well qualified, reasonably priced very friendly and on time. If you are in need of this type of service he is the man to call.

My husband and I renewed our vows in September. My husband wore his Dress Blues and I wore a dress that I ordered online. Well, when my husband got his DBs the rank and stripes had to be put on, and unfortunately, my dress was not completely sewn together right, and it did not fit across my derrière! We contacted Raja, The NY Tailor, and he did an amazing job on the uniform, but especially my dress!. It was a lot of work, but Raja did it and had me feeling like the Queen I was for my wedding! Thanks Raja!

Raj was amazing and absolutely affordable. I went to him with gaping issues on the back of my wedding dress. He fixed it immaculately. Absolutely professional and kind. I would recommend him to anyone.
