We brought our cat in during the final stage of her life. She had a large tumor and was in pain. The team treated her with respect and compassion from the moment we walked in. They spoke to us clearly. They explained every step. They made sure our cat was calm and comfortable.

They showed patience. They gave us time to say goodbye. They handled a hard moment with care and dignity. Their kindness made a painful day easier to bear.

We are grateful for their work. They went above and beyond. They treated our cat like family. All future pet needs will go through them. I trust their care and judgment without hesitation.

I can’t say enough good things about Central Hospital for Animals in Marion and Dr. Shannon. My dog was in a lot of pain and needed immediate care, and they went above and beyond to squeeze us in the very same day.

Dr. Shannon was incredibly kind and thorough. She took her time with us, really explained all of our options, and helped me feel confident about the plan moving forward. I honestly thought my dog was on his last leg — but after following her recommendations, adding the supplements she suggested, and changing up his diet, he’s like a completely new dog! My cat had an emergency appointment here after showing some troubling symptoms. They were able to get him in to be seen within 2 hours of us calling. The vet and vet tech were incredibly compassionate and kind, explained things clearly to us and handled our nervous cat very gently. I was a very happy pet parent. Their rates were fair and they even called to follow up and make sure my cat was recovering well the next day. Thanks so much!
