However, some clients have reported mixed experiences at DRYtini. One customer had a confirmed appointment for a blowout but arrived to find the salon doors locked, the lights off, and no one answering the phone or the door. Another client was booked for a hair and makeup appointment with the owner, Carrie, but was instead placed with someone else without any prior notice. While the makeup turned out well, the client felt the service was overpriced, and the hair appointment was rushed, resulting in an unsatisfactory look. Do not go here - I had a confirmed appointment for this evening to have a blowout for a special event. It was confirmed online. When I arrived, the doors were locked, lights were off, and no one answered my knock. I called the phone number and no one answered. I waited outside in the cold for 10 minutes before I finally left. The owners should be ashamed. Edit 12/15: the owner has responded saying that both the stylist and the owner of the dress shop next door were present and waited for me past the appointment time. This is incorrect. The doors to both businesses were locked; the lights in DryTINI were off and there was no movement inside the entire time I was there. I also spoke to the dress shop owner, who came outside as I was leaving (past my appointment time of 5:15 pm). Prior to that, she had a sign in the door of the dress shop saying she ran out for an errand, so I know for a fact that she was not present. She asked if I had called, which I responded in the affirmative. She did not tell me the DryTINI stylist was inside, which I assume she would have if she were there, because the businesses share a space. I first called at 5:05 pm and did not receive a call back until 6:54 pm when the owner noticed my negative review. And my husband can attest to all of this, because he was there with me. I will also note here that this business has a history of reviews on almost every platform that people have been repeatedly no-showed for appointments by their stylist, so I don't think my situation is unique.
