Jen has been such a pleasure to work with and exceeded all my expectations. I was looking for an accountability coach but I think Jen provides so much more than that. At our weekly meetings she was been great at guiding me through small incremental changes that have ultimately left me in a much better space both mentally and physically than I was in 6 months ago. I think that she is great at looking at health holistically and not just a number on the scale. She helped guide me through some roadblocks that I was not able to self-identify at the time.If I could tell myself a message 6 months ago before signing on to work with Jen it would be trust the process and know that the small changes will add up quicker than you think. Also it would be to update your habit tracker on time!
I started to work with Jen a little over a year ago. My goal was to gain upper and lower body strength. The goal has been met and I'm a new person. This past year I have gone through some very difficult times and Jen was always there to talk to and have a shoulder to cry on.I guess what I like most is her positive attitude and kindness.I know I will continue to work with her because I need to keep up with what we've accomplished. She's a coach and a friend.
I began working with Jen about three months into the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I struggled with a positive self-image, confidence, stress management, and a desire to achieve body goals that I didn’t understand was wholly realistic. Through Jen, I learned a lot about myself and how to tackled these issues and desires, curbing negative effects and thoughts with positive thoughts and actions, therefore breaking an endless cycle that I had never realized was overtaking my life and mindset. I have loved working with Jen over this past year and a half, she has pushed to me to tackle hard questions and beliefs, as well as keep me grounded with beliefs and standards. Jen has been both a coach to me and what has felt like an older sister, someone who can both hold me accountable for my actions, whether good or negative, as well as be my cheerleader even when I haven’t always been the best student and procrastinated. By working with Jen, my confidence in myself has grown, both body and soul. I’ve built an arsenal for a healthy habits tool box that covers mental health, food health, and body health. Many of these tools have been helpful to apply to my personal life and struggles, work life, and every day situations. In addition, Jen has been instrumental in my dieting and weight loss goals towards my Fall 2021 Wedding and is always flexible to tackle what I need each week or plan for the coming months. I will always believe that I made the right choice at the beginning of the pandemic to start working with Jen and I couldn’t imagine where I would be today without her.
