NCH Medical Group Primary and Specialty Care

Came into the walk-in as I had a hard bump that I could feel under my skin. I did not have to wait long and I was well cared for by Ashley and Sonja. Sonja had an xray ordered to see what it was that we were feeling trapped under my skin. It turned out to be a large sliver of wood. She numbed my arm and did an excellent job removing it without having to have stitches. Sonja was so professional and so pleasant.

I had to visit my specialist and they were practicing at this location, so I made the track up to this office. There was plenty of parking onsite. There were plenty of signs to help guide you between offices and the lobby had plenty of comfortable seating. There were outlets in the waiting room which were really helpful. From lobby to office room everything looked really clean and compared to other offices I was impressed. Check in was easy and doctor saw me in a decent amount of time. You don't find many medical places that are this spacious.

This review covers LAB services ONLY. It does not change my opinion on the urgent care side, though I'm pretty sure the urgent care staff have heard my complaints and probably put improvement measures in place. The lab and imaging center is easy to access and utilize. Sign in is very simple, a doctor faxes the order in, you schedule a visit time and show up. Wait times for lab service are very short, I'm sure they probably get long during peak hours but the lab seems well staffed and has a lot of patient bays to handle a lot of blood or specimen collections at once.
