I took my Dad to the VA this morning for an appointment.
I dropped my Dad off at the door, park the car and went and sat down with him. 2 minutes later we were called back into a room. Beth, the RN started what she needed to do right away!
We didn't send the room for half an hour before someone came back!
Then, within 5 minutes Dr. Friedrich entered the room and attended to my Dad.
Dr. Friedrich and Beth explained everything, were attentive and kind.
It makes my heart warm when I stumble upon these situations! Unfortunately, they are few and far between!

I’m treated with courtesy and respect by everyone in the clinic. Everyone is professional in skill and attitude. Good communication through VA messaging system.
I’m very limited as to what VA facility I can use because of distance. Joliet is closest to my home. I’m thankful the people at the Joliet Clinic are so good. But, those vets in central and southern Illinois have nowhere to go.
Awesome acupuncturist! Thank you for providing acupuncture for pain and anxiety. Including battlefield acupuncture in the ears.
Also awesome chiropractor! The cupping helped loosen up a bit but usually too tight to get an adjustment. Also the way he explained the PT exercises was superb for self help at home.
Finally some relief after years of pain nothing else worked.
