Basically, the hotel is quite old, but clean and not bad overall. However, the spa was disappointing. The steam room doesn’t work, the sauna doesn’t work, the pool is dirty, and there’s way too much chlorine in the jacuzzi. I wouldn’t recommend it for the pool, jacuzzi, or sauna. Maybe just for a short stay, but even then, it’s very outdated.

We worked with the Eaglewood staff on behalf of one of our wedding planning clients this fall. They were very attentive, provided excellent guidance for how/where to stage different events around the grounds (first look, cocktails, etc.), and helped keep the timeline moving smoothly throughout the day. An excellent wedding venue, and has easy access to Chicago for guests who want to take time to venture into the city.

My experience at Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca was truly wonderful. The resort is surrounded by beautiful, peaceful scenery, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle of the city. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and offer a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I was especially impressed with the spa services—professional and incredibly relaxing. It’s a great place to unwind and rejuvenate.
