Had our A/C Compressor go out in the dog days of July. Got a couple quotes before Mike. Not only was he the most affordable, but he was the MOST RELIABLE, Communicative and most of all Dedicated. Turns out our Coil was also bad in the furnace. Mike exhausted all options before having to replace the Coil. Truly a master of his craft. THANKS MIKE!!

Ruby does the best fade out there, I used to live out in Barrington but I moved back to Chicago. I still travel out there religiously just to get my haircut by Ruby she is the BEST out there.

Came here and had a great experience! It's a small office but everyone is so sweet! Especially the dental assistant Esme and the Dentist. They really know how to make you feel comfortable and they're really good at explaining what's going to happen and costs, and after care. I also brought my son in for a cleaning who is Autistic and they were so gentle and patient with him. He loved his visit! I highly recommend coming here. Don't let the reviews scare you. You can trust them, and they really go out of their way to make you feel at ease if you're nervous about coming to have work done on your teeth. A lot of people fear going to the Dentist, but there's nothing to fear at Gentle Dental. Can't wait to come back! Thanks again for everything Dr. Sherwin!
Turf tech does a very good job on our lawn. We made some smaller improvements after 1 season of utilizing their services and are hoping to continue to see a greater improvement this year as well. Grants communication is great!

Martin and his team came to where my car had stalled and helped me to get it back to their shop. They had an update/diagnosis for me the same day and had the repairs complete a day sooner than anticipated. Pricing was very reasonable and Martin and his team were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I will definitely be coming here with any further issues I run into as my car continues to rack up the mileage!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. The prices and quality are incomparable! They truly should be charging more for the service they provide. I’ve played plenty more for much less. My sister and I got pedicures and both feel the same way and had the same experience. I’m used to the 5 min half massage. They continued to massage for what felt like half of the service! I was shocked they kept going. It was beyond relaxing and the ladies we had were extremely kind and checked in on us the entire time. Even asked how the color looked after the first nail to make sure I liked it. We will absolutely be coming back. Wish we would’ve found them sooner.

Just got nose repierced from Josh. Gotta say, the nicest and most reliable piercer in town. I got nose pierced from a different place and I decided to take it out because it was so clunky and large. After 8 months of it being closed, Josh was able to pierce it no problem whatsoever. The jewelry sits so much better that your typical piercing. My mom got her nose pierced as well and my dad got his other ear pierced. They both love it. I would absolutely recommend coming here for piercings. If I could give it more stars I would.

We have lived in several homes in Chicagoland over the years. MC Landscaping has been taking care of our lawn and gardens for decades. Since working with this company I have never had to hire a landscape architect. Mr. Cordova is extremely knowledgeable about all IL plants, flowers and trees. He knows what will work where and he knows why. We once built a home on an empty lot, with a pool and spa. Without any other help MC Landscaping turned it into paradise with a stone retaining wall on one end of the pool and a beautiful pergola next to it. There were lovely walkways and paths around the property. His stonework is incredible. He installed beautiful trees and hundreds of plants and flowers. It looked like it had been there for years. My friends raved about my flower gardens. But, MC Landscaping, for all of their skill, experience and creativity, has always charged fair rates. As the president of a NFP I required several bids for work to be done on the grounds and he won the bid, with unanimous agreement from the board. The staff at MC Landscaping is top notch as well. They also bring the most amazing compost for my vegetable and flower gardens. Things have been growing like crazy. He even brings sand for my chicken run and stones for my duck run. That is dedication! Now that we have just moved away from IL I thought it was high time I wrote a review on this company, the owner with which I have such a wonderful rapport. Thank you for everything, MC Landscaping! You are the BEST!
Fred is always accommodating, works quickly, fair pricing and does repairs when others try to sell you a roof when you dont need one. He has always done little extra things for clients too. One time we had a 1 nail roof leak. It was sticking up after a storm which flooded the ceiling in the foyer. He showed up, found the issue, fixed, sealed and refused to take a dollar. That's rare these days.
I always feel great following any services I receive from Lindsey ChiroPlus. Dr. Kate is very kind and professional. She spends time listening to my health concerns and develops a treatment program that provides positive results. In addition to Dr. Kate's treatments, I have used other services at this facility. The massage therapists are exceptional. Each therapist offers various treatments. My most recent massage included Cupping Therapy. The therapist, Rafael, explained the procedure and how it would be beneficial for some post surgical discomforts that I have. Afterwards I was so pleased and felt immediate results. I have been to several Chiropractic facilities but this one outshines the others. The exceptional responsiveness of Lindsay ChiroPlus allows me to feel confident and at ease. I highly recommend this healthcare provider.
Today was my third time at Awesome Nails and I continue to be impressed. My dip manicure lasted 3 weeks and except outgrowth, still looked great. I brought my daughter for a pedicure last time and they made her feel special in her own small chair. Glad to have found this place!

We have been going to Dr Max for years now. He and his office gals take great care of our cats. They are nice, easy to get a hold off and schedule an urgent visit. Dr Max is honest knowledgeable vet, gets straight to the business. Reading reviews on him overcharging patients is complete lie, he never pushed any unnecessary treatments and explained what is necessary and not necessary for our pets. Actually his providing, meds and vaccines are more than affordable, including self pay discount, who cat beat that. My cats have been treated with passion and respect, absolutely would recommend Dr Max to everybody.
I got my haircut at the Island Lake location on Saturday, April 19, 2025. They were really that busy at that point so I appreciated the friendliness and the service from these people. It was an improvement from last time’s visit. I’ve been getting the same haircut for a few years now so it still came out well and I was still happy with the experience.
