I cannot say enough good things about Highland Animal Hospital, particularly Dr. Sirko. I have been bringing my kitties to HAH, but my family dog received treatment elsewhere most of his life. After an unexpected closure and the decline of his health, we made a frantic call to the staff to hopefully get him some care. They fit us in no questions asked, and took amazing care of him. To no fault of theirs, it was time to say goodbye to Oakley shortly after. Again, they were able to make room for his last day in their schedule. We brought our two cats and our dog in together for a single annual visit, and the whole experience was excellent.
From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, patient, and took the time to really listen. The veterinarian was especially impressive—thorough, calm, and never rushed. They spent more time with us than most human doctors do, and answered every single question my wife had with kindness and care (even the super detailed ones). You can tell they genuinely care about both pets and pet parents. Highly recommend Highland IL Animal Hospital.

I take care of a few TNRed stray cats in the area that I can't bring inside because I'm already at the capacity for pets in my apartment. One of these cats had an abscess that needed to be taken care of, so I made an appointment at this vet. However, she didn't return to my apartment and I was unable to make the appointment. Highland Animal Hospital chose to refund the appointment fee and thanked me for trying to help the kitty. An incredible show of kindness, especially since I know how expensive running a vet office can be.
