Hanover Park Animal Care Center is a veterinary clinic known for its quick and responsive care in emergency situations. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, going the extra mile to follow up with patients after visits. Clients appreciate the clinic's compassionate gesture of lighting a memorial for those who have lost a pet. The clinic has helped many pets, including a dog with acute hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, receiving praise for the treatment and care provided by Dr. Garvey and the staff. However, the clinic faces ongoing challenges with staffing and scheduling, which can lead to lengthy wait times for scheduled appointments, including routine procedures like nail trims. Despite these issues, the clinic's veterinarians are praised for their dedication and expertise in managing complex medical cases, such as a cat's diabetes diagnosis. The facility is also noted for its cleanliness and professionalism. While the clinic's customer service and pricing are generally positive, there is room for improvement in ensuring clear communication and following through on client requests.
We took our 13 year old dog for his first visit there. We left our last vet because their communication had really gotten bad over the last year. I thought this organization really seemed to work well together. We knew exactly what our next steps were, and how we had to prep our old boy. It was a much better experience all around.
I brought my dog Onyx to my regular vet and they did nothing for him. He had a 105 fever and they sent him home. The next day they told me to go into an emergency vet. I was recommended Hanover from my grandma so I called and they got him in the same day. They treated him with fluids and some other things. Did an X-ray and the next day he was pretty much himself again. So grateful and will be returning.
We have been bringing our pet Murphy(a mixed breed dog) to Hanover Park Animal Vet since 2019. They have taken wonderful care of him through out the years which included 2 ACL surgeries. The staff, techs and Drs are wonderful. Follow up is impeccable and their knowledge is top notch. I would highly recommend this vet clinic/hospital!
