The main thing was upgrading from the old 100 amp panel to 200 amp because we kept tripping breakers whenever the AC and the dryer ran at the same time, which in summer was basically every day. They swapped out the entire panel, meter base, and the weatherhead connection to the utility. All the old cloth wiring on the first floor got replaced with romex at the same time, which I was nervous about because I thought they'd have to open up a ton of drywall but they fished most of it through from the basement and attic and only cut maybe four small access holes total. I needed a local electrician to help me upgrade my garage outlet, so it can park my electric car. I started calling around, then I met this licensed electrician Gurnee. He did a great job with the electrical wirings in the garage. He also gave me advice about our electrical connections, and how I can save more if I want to add more light to the garage. It’s not every day you will find a worker that is passionate about his work.
