Pere Marquette Riding Stables offers a fun and inclusive horseback riding experience for all skill levels. Visitors can enjoy a scenic trail ride through wooded areas and sunny clearings, guided by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner is very nice, helpful, and accommodating, making every effort to make a dream come true. The horses are beautiful, well taken care of, and gentle. The trail was pretty and the guide was great, informative, and had some great stories. The experience is a wonderful and memorable day for all, and many riders look forward to returning for more adventures.
I will say the most important thing is safety and that is definitely 5 stars. Great care of taken before, during and after. One of our riders was only 10 but she was an experienced rider and I was not concerned for her safety. The only reason I marked it down a star was because the trail is a bit boring. There isn't necessarily a lot to see but if getting on a horse to ride is the objective, 5 stars it is. No cameras allowed on the ride.

I hadn't been riding in over 20 years, and I missed it so much. Imagine my surprise when I found such a wonderful option only about 40 minutes from where I live! Enis was a great and knowledgeable trail leader, and the horses were so, so patient with us (even the newbs). I can't wait to be able to go back 🖤 PLEASE LISTEN TO ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN. Ohhh and DON'T BE LATE!
