Been to many other gyms in the area and the Glen Ellyn YMCA is 10 times better by far. Gym and facility is always clean, never too busy, has new/updated equipment, and loads of amenities.
Staff is great as well. Very friendly, hard working, and accommodating.

This is easily the most visually appealing YMCA I've ever been in. Not only does all the architecture feel consistent, but even the fitness centers fit the vibe. Additionally, this facility just has a lot of good amenities. I still have yet to see a dirty counter or dirty seat. However, I am fond of this YMCA for a major reason. Almost every YMCA has a policy that if you lose your stuff, it's on you and you just lose it. Despite that, when I accidentally left my computer overnight, they held onto it for me and returned it to me in the morning. I don't really think a YMCA can get better than this

I just had to give some feedback after this morning’s Strength+ class with Megan F. It was THE BEST WORKOUT! I just love her positivity in each class, as well as how hard she pushes us. I know I may not appear to appreciate it in the moment - ha ha - but afterwards, the high from the tough workout lasts all day long. She genuinely cares about each person in her class getting the most out of it. She is always pushing us to lift more, but in a supportive way. Today, specifically, she got me when after using 25’s (my heaviest) for my deadlifts, she convinced me to keep the heavies in my hands for the next movement, when normally I would have gone down to a lighter weight.... read full review
