Hands down, by far, the best value I've come across for cellos after months searching. I bought a Soloist special edition from them from across the country and it's easily one of the best cellos I've tried under 10k, and it was practically a third that price. Todd, their president, was fantastic. He answered all my questions, sent me pictures and audio clips tailored to what I liked and was looking for, and the cello was even better than I hoped for. I also dabble in amateur lutherie and have repaired several broken cellos, bridges, shaped necks etc, and I 100% believe that they are going above industry standard for their set ups.
I received my Maestro cello outfit a week ago and could not be more pleased. It is just as expected - beautiful in every way. Todd, StringWorks owner, was so helpful in assisting me in my purchase. He helped me make the best decisions and happily answered every question. The cello arrived in short order, perfect condition and ready to play. An excellent experience. Highly recommend.
