We decided to redo our kitchen to light up and freshen the 35 yo look. Rather than totally remodel we considered resurfacing our cabinets. My wife lined up 3 quotes of companies that used a thin plastic covered laminate. I really wasn’t impressed or happy with the products or the business model of the most popular brand.

Great value and superb workmanship!Our kitchen sported country oak cabinets and a laminate countertop, circa 1986 and was in dire need of an update. We found Jim Pace of Kitchen Craftsman in Geneva, IL through a reference from a real estate agent. Jim came by to estimate the job and showed us some samples and we also viewed his gallery on his website (Google "Kitchen Craftsman Geneva IL" to find it). Superior workmanship. My kitchen looks like all new cabinets were installed. Jim Pace’s craftsmanship is very high quality. His price is competitive. Jim was great to work with, always on time, and finished the work as promised. For a kitchen cabinet refacing project, this is the guy to call.
