Safeguard Waterproofing - Ram Jack Illinois

This is the second 100+ year-old home in Forest Park that we’ve trusted Ram Jack/Safeguard Waterproofing with — about 10 years apart — and I was happy to see Bob Shipyor was still there managing the process.

Our basement had significant water issues, and this was a big project. Their team installed a full interior drain tile system, repaired multiple foundation cracks, installed a new sump pump system with battery backup, and added exterior underground drainage to move the water away from the house.

Pat D came out to our house and inspected a leak in our basement. We feared there could be a crack in the foundation but he discovered a clogged condensation pipe nearby that had been overflowing - a much easier fix. Thank you for being an honest broker, Pat. I was pleased with the quality of the work and how the workers completed the job on time and left the location clean. Communication could have been more timely. I needed to reach out multiple times to get requested information. The warranty provided at job completion initially did not cover what was conveyed verbally and in the bid, but this was rectified and I received a warranty with the updated language requested.
