My daughter and I have been taking violin lessons together with Sarah Gasse for four years. Sarah's style is laid back, adaptable, and she meets the student at their level. She does not shame, and we learn a lot, while we're able to have fun in the lessons! I have never seen a child upset while at this studio - and while learning something difficult like a string instrument - that's impressive! Miss Sarah Gasse is patient, kind, and strength based in her Suzuki approach. She has kids, which may be reflected in her patience for her students' antics and ways of being and learning. I'm taking violin lessons with my 5th grader and I couldn't be happier. She is encouraging, kind, and insightful. I've taken music lessons before and I do not respond well to rigid instructions, Miss Sarah is fluid and graceful. Excellent experience. Free and easy parking.

I have had Sarah as a violin teacher for 8 years and she is the best teacher in the entire world!!!!!!!!!!!! She is so encouraging, patient, has a really good teaching method, and is one of the nicest people that I know. Dr. Gasse is a very good teacher as well and I have learned a lot from his coaching in my string quartet which is a great way to learn to play with others instead of solo. The recitals are so much fun, too. Highly recommend! Taking lessons here has really improved my playing and I would probably not be playing anymore if I had not began taking lessons at GSM.They are the best and I have NO regrets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
