Fast African Hair Braiding is known for its fast, neat, and beautiful braids. Customers appreciate the skill and talent of the stylists, particularly Julia and Josie, who provide excellent results and maintain a sweet vibe. Many loyal clients have been visiting for over ten years and are consistently satisfied with their hair. The shop operates on a "pay up front" policy, which some find surprising but understand after observing the challenging interactions with difficult customers. While there may be some issues with timeliness, the staff is generally accommodating and direct. Walk-in customers also have positive experiences, with quick service and great results. Overall, Fast African Hair Braiding is a reliable choice for anyone looking for quality braiding services.
I am getting my hair done right now and it looks fantastic! After another hairstylist had to cancel last minute, I was able to get a same day appointment here for medium box braids and I am so glad I did. They truly do live up to their name of fast braiding! My appointment started at 3pm and as of now (5:34) I have about an hour left (for reference I have about bra strap length hair).
Things to note: 1. If you want an appointment, make a deposit. Its $25 but if you have not paid it, assume you do NOT have an official appointment.
2. Come with a picture. They can do almost anything you want, if you can show them what you want it to look like.
When I say HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST! Claudia did a fantastic job on my braids! She was very professional and patient! I mentioned to her that I was getting my hair done to celebrate my birthday and she even acknowledged that when she was done! Much appreciated!

This is a very welcoming, down to earth business. Miss Ayawa is such a doll, and very patient. She knows what she is doing and she gives you exactly what you want, and styles it in the best way for your hair.
