If a driver is unsure about the process, it's recommended to check in early to clarify any doubts. The crew is generally informative and a pleasure to work with. However, it's worth noting that they can be slow to start the day, so arriving before 7:00 am may not be necessary. Once checked in, the unloading process is typically completed within 30 minutes.
Tell them if you're delivering a reefer load to get the proper door and instructions. I wasn't told to keep my doors closed and there was almost an issue (all other trailers in doors had doors open, so I followed suit 🤷🏼♀️) but they were gracious and handled it quickly and without incident. They did remark on my bills "seal was cut" so I had to call dispatch and let them know the situation.

Do NOT break your seals
Don't get yourself compromised, hit the lowest numbered door and then check in. ( I usually start with number 2)
They will ask you to:
Shut off engine
Chock wheels (they have them to borrow)
And set your brakes off course
Please drivers have the following :
VALID CDL
SAFETY VEST
TRUCK LICENSE PLATE
This will make things easier for you. I don't go inside the whse so I didn't need
Safety steel toed shoes
If your usually early like me, see if they can't fit you in Earlier. My load was secured so I had to wait for the team to check me in for instructions and Inspection.

They're a little slow to get the day going. Really not much point in showing up before 0700. Jump in dock one, or whichever is the lowest available. Bring driver's license and plate number with you to check in, borrow chock. Quick unload, usually inside 30 minutes
