Mat is a nice guy who made an island top for us, but he never finished the job. He said he would return two weeks later to final sand and seal the wood. I had to hire someone else to final sand & seal the island after two weeks turned into seven frustrating months of unanswered messages and canceled appts. This cost me an extra several hundred dollars, and a chip in my island occurred bc it hadn't been final sanded and sealed. Thankfully the second person I hired was able to repair it. I understand my job was smaller than a whole kitchen, but it is not ok to leave a project unfinished for almost a year after being paid in full.
