Less than a month ago I had a stroke. After getting stabilized at the local hospital, I was sent to Ascension Alexian Brothers Elk Grove Village for acute in-person rehab. I got great care and outstanding help from my occupational and physical therapists. They work as a team and work with each patient to customize their therapies to their needs. The attending doctor checked in with me frequently and the program was structured and clear. Each day my schedule was displayed on an in-room TV screen and the nurses/personal care techs were responsive. My room was comfortable and there was good storage space for clothes and necessities.

Amita Alexian Brothers Medical Center has many buildings beside the main tower numbered 8. The Rehabilitation building is across the street from the main tower. My friend had a stroke and the nurses were very helpful and considerate of my friend's condition. You will be treated well medically and with dignity.
