McCloud Aquatics is a lake and pond management company that has been serving Southern Wisconsin, Northern and Central Illinois, and Chicagoland since 1960. They offer a range of services including shoreline restoration, algae control, fish stocking, invasive plant management, aeration, and water enhancements. Customers praise their professionalism, expertise, and good communication. One customer had an A+ experience after being recommended by their HOA, especially when they needed help with an aeration pump. When the pump stopped working six months later, McCloud Aquatics quickly fixed it without charge. They also performed a large-scale treatment at Apple Canyon Lake, which had 15 miles of shoreline, successfully killing zebra mussels and earning praise for their professionalism and communication. At Hawthorne pond, McCloud Aquatics corrected damage caused by a previous company, restoring the pond and wildlife, much to the customer’s gratitude for Dimitri and the McCloud family. Customers appreciate their dedication to helping property owners achieve healthy aquatic environments. Our subdivision has used McLoud Aquatics to take care of our water quality and just recently their fountain service. We had a very old fountain that finally gave up . It was maintained by John Stout who is very knowledgeable in aquatics, pond maintenance and repairs. The old fountain couldn’t be repaired so we purchased another one. He made sure that the new one was compatible with our light bar that was still working. I bought my property, with a 3/4 acre pond, 4 years ago. Every year, April through October, my pond was inundated by duckweed/watermeal. 100% coverage. I treated it myself for the first three years, spending thousands of dollars, and saw no significant improvement. I did my research and contacted McCloud Aquatics. I coordinated a plan with Dimitri.
