Every time we go to the vet, I feel compassion and heard. The vets and everyone on the staff are kind and caring. It is a very welcoming space, and when an emergency happens, they can generally get you in very fast. I am glad I have a place I trust that I can bring my cats to and know they will be cared for. Thanks Effingham Veterinary Clinic for all you do for these animals we care so much about and for being who you are. It is very appreciated. 💜🙏🏻
Dr Kirby is our go to man! We always request him, but we have also used couple of the other doctors for our cattle and horses and they are all very knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate! They make sure you understand what’s going on and take time to answer any questions you may have. We love Effingham Vet Clinic and highly highly recommend Dr Kirby and all the other staff!
Unfortunately I've only gotten to go to this vet once and it was for my senior cat, who I ended up deciding to have euthanized during an emergency visit and the doctor Lindsey Goeckner helped make this one of the most devastating moments of my life just a little easier. She gave me plenty of time with my sweet boy every step of the way and the compassion and kindness offered to my cat and I is deeply appreciated, especially after I had a poor experience at the sister location East Side. I would definitely recommend the Effingham Veterinary Clinic. RIP Curio 2/23/2026
