We love TBK- It’s become a really great routine for our kids who are 4 and 6. The classes are fun and the instructors are wonderful but there are also worksheets the kids can complete at home that encourage them to get into the habit of helping around the house. They’re motivated by earning tapes for their belts and it’s helping us raise kids who contribute at home while they learn coordination and self control in class.
My child's self discipline, self-control, and confidence has been building after a month of him being a part of the program. What works for him are the weekly job list including waking up in the morning, makes his own bed, brushes his teeth, ask to make his own breakfast, and does his workbook) without ask or hesitation. He is progressing day by day and as he progresses in class, he gets more black belt stripes to go on his belt.
