My dad was in the hospital a few weeks ago, and every time I visited him there was some home health people at the hospital swinging by trying to sell their services. I mentioned several times that I was definitely interested in it for him… But by the time he was ready to get discharged nothing was ready and nobody signed off on anything. He was literally stuck in the hospital for two additional days because nobody from home health services would help us. Then by the time he got home, scheduling was such a mess and they were always late or didn’t show up at all. I am so disgusted with the unprofessional and lack of responsibility and care for my son. I don’t know where to start. The case manager Bobby is the worst she keeps sending her floater nurse is the first problem because the floater nurse doesn’t find out to the day of she has to be here. So it’s a last minute notice for me. Which is unacceptable and I’m not dealing with that anymore. After my sons trauma you think the case mgr would do a better job. My son was the Lincoln Park Shooting victim and this part of his care has been the worst. The case manager did not order supplies on time when requested. She should have ordered them the first day she saw my...read full review
