this was a big project for us, basically converting an 1100 sq ft unfinished basement into a livable second floor with a full bathroom, theater room, exercise area, and a bedroom suite for guests. took about 10 weeks total which was right around what they estimated. the project lead came by almost every day even when his guys were the ones doing the work, just to check progress and answer questions. communication was strong throughout. their electrician was particularly good, figured out a clean way to run wiring for the theater setup without any weird patch jobs in the ceiling. the bathroom tile work is also really well done, especially the shower niche and the transitions....read full review
this took a few months from start to finish but the timeline they gave us at the beginning was basically what it ended up being. picked DP after getting quotes from a couple other places in Deer Park and they had the most detailed proposal design meetings were productive, we changed our mind on the layout twice and they were patient about redrawing things. construction phase moved well, inspections pass first try. now we have a basement my in laws actually want to stay in when they visit
started looking into basement finishing last fall and reached out to a handful of companies. DP was one of the faster ones to respond and their estimate was detailed without being confusing. once we agreed on a layout they got started within a couple weeks. there was a point midway where i wanted to adjust the wall placement slightly and they accommodated it without making it a big deal. wrapped up on time and the space looks exactly like what we discussed in the beginning. using it as a rec room now
