Tina R my RN was amazing she went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable and ok she truly is the definition of seeing someone working who actually loves there job and not just working for a paycheck it was truly a blessing to have her as my RN and I hope she can bless many more with her presence as she did for me plus just overall a great hospital with great staff!!!!!
My doctor/SIU women’s health center in Decatur is not listed as a location/is not shown on the map at 441 W. Hay, so I’ll write my review here:
Dr. Calvin Monroe is the first doctor to not be judgmental towards me about requesting permanent sterilization. Unlike other doctors I’ve seen, Dr. Monroe didn’t laugh at or belittle me, but listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. He has a calm demeanor which helped my anxiety before the procedure. He performed a laparoscopic bilateral salpingectomy this morning and as of right now, I am having some mild cramping at the worst. I wish more doctors listened to their patients like Dr Monroe.
I've been going here for many years. I'm grateful for this clinic and its associated offices, specialty clinic.
I am treated well by staff and am able to get appointments, phone responses by nurses, doctors and staff who usually return calls and messages within 48 hrs.
The on-call after hours residents are very helpful.
