“Midwest siding advertises they have their own installation crew. Process of the installation was great, but work was shoddy-warping/buckling 3 months later, siding falling off, no framing to prevent outlet sites, I leveled in some areas. Was told crew would return to fix on 3 occasions, no one showed. Spoke to salesman and he said they subcontract installers, and crew that did my work was new to them. I was going to have windows installed with them, but not after this experience. Beware of using them for such an expensive project that can potentially cause damage to your home- *update*-received call from owners grandson just before Memorial Day weekend, who came to my home within 30 minutes of his call. We walked around the house and I showed and voiced all concerns. He stated he wanted to make it right, that the siding initially done on my house was not up their company’s standards. He sent a new, tried and true crew the day after Memorial Day, days after the walk around. They took down, and replaced ALL the siding within about a week (there was some bad weather). He followed up to address any further concerns, of which, I thankfully didn’t have. They offered to eat the cost of the one window I ordered, as well as install 3 brand gable vents, because mine were tired and off center, which I happily accepted. Although this was a lesson on making sure you know who the subcontractors are for whatever service you hire, I have to say Midwest Siding and Windows, in the end after some nudging, did go above and beyond to make it right. My siding looks amazing.“
