My wife and I needed new frames to go along with the new prescription we recently were issued by Dr. Sobin. We were so lucky to have as our optical tech Katie to guide us through the selection process and then the insurance details at payment time To say that Katie was thorough, conscientious, professional, and kind, would be very true understating how truly fabulous she was with us. She was wonderful very easy to work with very patient and very understanding of not only the product but the process to get our new frames ordered. I got a new floater in one eye and Gailey made an appointment for Dr Hazlehurst to see me the same day. I knew it was probably a posterior vitreous detachment, because I'd had the same thing in the other eye a few years ago. Dr Hazlehurst confirmed that diagnosis but, unlike the place I went to the previous time, told me to call at any time, any day, if certain things happened, arranged a follow-up appointment to check on it in two months, and got photos of my eye taken so he'll be able to see if something has changed. So I'm getting much better care at Gailey than I did the previous time.
My experience at Gailey was absolutly the best you could possibly hope for. The staff, my nurse, the doctor and the entire staff mad me feel completely comfortable. I was somewhat nervous and they put me at ease from the very beginning. I highly recommend Gailey and Dr. Barba!
