I normally haven't had any issues with them, but lately they just keep getting worse and worse. My wife has given them her insurance twice now and both times they keep charging it to the wrong insurance that she is long off of. So now we have about $600 in two bills total that we cant afford to pay. The most recent one being this one... Wife was having severe pain around her kidneys at about 9 pm in June. So I called 911, and the dispatcher gave me and my wife an attitude before sending both fire and Abbott EMS. First the fire dept came and claimed my wife was preggo just because she was "bigger" then Abbott arrived and tried to just claim it was her Anxiety since my wife said she suffers from it. Before Abbott took her to DMH both the fire dept and Abbott were trying to convince her not to go. She wanted to go anyways since the pain was going on a few days now and it just got worse. So they took her and Abbott never asked for her insurance. She gets to DMH and the front staff and the intake people were all rude to her. About 3 hours later she goes back and the doctor is the only the one cared. The Dr said that had she not waited any longer she would have gotten Sepsis in her Kidneys, they were that bad. Later we ended up getting a $1600 bill from Abbott that we cant afford. That doctor is the only reason I rated DMH 3 stars. Otherwise I would of rated them 1 for all the other bad interactions I never mentioned.
