My son has been part of Polaris Martial Arts in Crete for several years, and recently achieved his 1st degree black belt. I cannot express enough how much of a positive impact this program, especially Mr. DeVries, has had on his life. Mr. DeVries is more than just an instructor; he is a mentor who teaches with patience, integrity, and genuine care for his students. Under his guidance, my son has grown significantly in character, confidence, and respect. These are qualities that go well beyond the training floor. The life lessons he has gained through this program will stay with him for years to come.

Seeing as though the last review was 2 years ago, why not make an updated one. So here is it, I came in the end of February, and they had special going, i was going to pay for it, but it didn't make sense seeing as though my boys were already interested off 1 visit. Everyone in there is so patient and working with the kids, they really do mean discipline, one of the boys weren't doing what they were suppose to do outside of here and I told sensei, he made sure to inform the kid what he should expect if he continues to perform in a way that doesn't align with the Oath. So far so good
*Highly recommend* Great school! Awesome program! Miss Larissa in Frankfort is a very talented martial artist and instructor. She provides a good balance of structure, discipline and fun! My son never wants to leave and would attend everyday if possible! ?
