I work at a long term care facility and we had a very small petite so very sweet lady pass. Maple sent a man out to pick up the deceased and I was SHOCKED AND MORTIFIED how aggressive and RUDE this man was. Ignored the staff wouldn’t speak back at all, finally muttered what funeral home he was with. Picked up this very small woman and tossed her body around as if she was a larger person. Kept shaking his head, slamming doors, pulling the trolly behind him with one hand bumping this woman into every wall and door way. I attended a "drive through" wake today and it was beautiful. The Maple Funeral Home has added a large beautiful window for safe visitations. The deceased looked peaceful and beautiful. I was very impressed with the director and staff, and how they have adapted to serving families in these days of dealing with Covid.
