Clagg's Barber Shop provides a great environment with friendly and helpful barbers who give great haircuts at a reasonable price. They are accommodating to customers with disabilities and create a lively atmosphere with conversation and banter. However, the shop could improve on cleanliness, as hair clippings are often left on the floor.
My daughter is a college kid in Carlinville, we recently moved from MO to Springfield. Heard about this barbershop and stopped in today. They were welcoming from the start with easy going friendly atmosphere and general conversation. They did a great job giving us a fresh cut. I had Clagg and my daughter had Fish.. apologies I couldn’t remember the first names. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
They were so good with my son( who is autistic) they just let him play and let him watch them cut the other men's hair. When it was my sons turn the barber got down to his level. My son even held the barber hand( my son isn't shy but he doesn't let to many people touch him or hold his hands). I will definitely be taking my son there for now on. Thank you for being so understanding and sweet to my son.
Did a great job and was super nice to everyone joked around with any kids that came in it's a great environment the only thing I didn't like is they don't sweep up the hair after they cut people's hair so the floor was just covered in hair from all the people that came in that day
