I highly recommend finding a different home care company, at least for physical therapy. My 90 year old father qualifies for home PT via medicare but I had to make daily calls to this agency and was told they would see my father at least 48 hours after discharge from his rehab center. Here we are 48 hours at home and I got a short, kurt voicemail from the physical therapist saying they are 'declining' seeing my dad who had back surgery over 10 days ago. No explanation other than 'we are very busy and understaffed'. This is all after I was reassured they would provide PT in the home. Beware, they likely don't have the staffing and follow-through for your loved one either....read full review

While the nurse and the therapists that did manage to come out were great, the overall service from this company just wasn’t there. We never knew who was coming or when. There was very little communication. All we asked for was a simple phone call. (Just a phone call)The OT who was to see my husband twice a week didn’t even call until week two. (Probably only after I complained)Very disappointed with those of you who chose this vocation with one important thing missing, “the care. “

I highly recommend Phoenix Home Care. It is a great home health company, run by owner, Pete Miska. He has a deep knowledge of the industry, high integrity and is one of the hardest working healthcare professionals I know.
