Four Points by Sheraton Buffalo Grove

Four Points” refers to the four stages of regret: booking, arriving, staying, and seeing the credit card statement.
What an experience. If this hotel is supposed to represent the Four Points by Sheraton brand, someone may want to check whether the property got accidentally left behind about 20 years ago. In other words, the purple spot of thr monopoly board.

The hotel is seriously outdated, from the tired-looking rooms to the bizarre decor that seems to have been assembled by someone who was told “make it look modern” sometime around 2004 and never received the follow-up call. Used condoms, a broken parking lot, and tattered curtains in rooms greeted us as we pulled up. As we walked into the lobby to check-in, the air conditioning was hit or miss pending where we walked. We were given a room on the second floor, and during our journey to get there, we encountered sketchy elevators and hit or miss air conditioning. When we entered our room, we were hit with hot air and a wet screen smell. The thermostat was set at 65, so we knew there was a problem. Great customer service and clean rooms.. we had a pleasant stay for a few nights btw our moves.. highly recommended.. breakfast is also nice and offer decent stuff.. chef on the week days had some attitude problem but weekend chef was very sweet!
