I have lived on the North Shore for over 30 years & Assurance is BY FAR the best local HVAC company. They sent out a very experienced technician named Bart who I have now used multiple times. Bart is an expert at diagnosing issues and coming up with excellent repair ideas that avoid the need to buy a new furnace or AC. I have used other local HVAC companies in the past and many have sent out technicians that are either inexperienced or dishonest. I strongly recommend Assurance for regular annual maintenance, trouble shooting, repairs, and (when absolutely necessary) a new furnace and/or AC. The Assurance folks are honest, experienced and have very fair pricing.
I heard of Assurance Heating & Air Conditioning through a referral. I made a mental note of their name as they are a Carrier dealer and not all that far from where I live. I have a Carrier Infinity modulating furnace which is their high-end model and of course parts for it are very expensive. I called Assurance on a Sunday morning after a day without heat. When the tech called me back we discussed what my unit was doing. I had run the diagnostic from the thermostat and saw that the control module was trying to start the draft inducer motor but it wasn't starting.
