Started out needing repairs late on a Friday to my old pair of glasses.... They took me right in and I could function again in under 15 minutes. Made an appointment for new glasses for the next available and they said they would call with any cancellations... they did and a multiple day wait dropped to ONE DAY! Talked thru my insurance and was shown frames and prices BEFORE the exam so I knew what I was looking at on out of pocket.... Exam was very complete and my new prescription was on order within a few minutes.... Final price after insurance was VERY REASONABLE and they said up to two weeks for the new glasses to arrive which I would receive a text on. THREE DAYS...read full review

I've had these folks examine my eyes, and make glasses for my prescription on a couple of occasions; I have an old - 48-year-old - pair of Bausch & Lomb Aviator Frame 'Shooters Glasses', with huge 65mm lenses; most Opticians won't touch them; I guess they don't have access to lenses of this size. Bausch & Lomb has now become Ray-Ban, which was the original name of the 'Aviator Glasses' that Bausch & Lomb designed in 1929, to deal with the intense UV Blue and White hues experienced by pilots. But LensCrafters, Bourbonnais, IL, where I go, was able to fix me right up... these guys and gals are professionals... Sure is nice to be able to see again. The entire staff was extremely helpful. The fire alarm went off during my visit, and they did the right thing making sure I was safe, while clearly worried it would upset me to prolong my visit. Some people may not appreciate that, but I did. During my visit I discussed my issue of increasingly having problems wearing contacts. Every other eye doctor I’ve been to has just recommended a new brand, insisting they’d work for me, and send me on my way. Dr Cope took the time to make a simple assessment, and found what he believed to be the real culprit.
