My family has been using Geils Funeral Home for decades. I remember going there as a kid and have gone there throughout the years for all of our lost family and loved ones. When we lost our Mom approximately 2 weeks ago it was not expected and caught my family off guard. This was an extremely traumatic experience for my Father, my two sisters and myself. We were in a tailspin. Very lost and confused. We knew some of my Moms wishes, but had to fill in the blanks. We all agreed almost instantly that we would have everything done at Geils. This is the first time I ever have had to deal with planning a funeral myself with my family. We called the funeral home and after talking with Ryan, we came in the next day to discuss our options. Ryan was extremely comforting and truly understood that we did not know what we were doing and did not plan on doing this any time soon. Ryan did not take advantage of us, and as we expressed all of our concerns he immediately came up with a solution for all of them. We were walked step by step through all of our options and after everything was said and done, we had a beautiful service 3 days later. Ryan did everything we spoke about and more in just 3 DAYS! This was a hard process for me and my family. Ryan removed all of the stress and allowed us time to somewhat process what was happening. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. From Ryan and his assistant coming to pick up my father. They respected us and were so kind. We worked with Brittney for all our planning. From the moment we met her to the moment we finished she was absolutely helpful, sweet and just wonderful all around. She made sure to answer all questions we had. She gave us ideas for memory keepsakes and made sure we were ready and ok with every decision. Thank you so much for making a hard time easier by all the support and help.
