“We received the dreaded email from summer camp that a few cases of lice had been reported. Because our daughter is sharing camp jerseys and in general is a hugger, we decided to take her in to get her check. She had been complaining of an itchy head previously and didn’t want to chance anything.

I was so stressed out because we had our first and only lice occurrence a couple years ago and went to a local oak park clinic. This place was not clean or well maintained and tho it worked, it was not a great experience for a number of reasons. Because of this, I did some research to find recommendations and heard great things about Lice Busters.

I reached out to Lesa @ Lice Busters, had a million questions, got all my answers and was booked the following day. The whole family came in and let me just say I was so impressed with the space. It had a warm, welcoming and very clean atmosphere. Snacks, activities and tv for the kiddos. Lesa was so upbeat, encouraging and patient with all of us (especially my anxious self!) and helped my kids feel comfortable immediately.

She checked my daughter and thankfully it was a false alarm. She took the time to educate me on what to look for and also spoke to my daughter about how to avoid contact and why it’s important to be mindful of this especially in summer camp.

We just loved Lesa’s energy and appreciated how caring her service was from start to finish. Hopefully this won’t happen again but if it does, we know exactly where to go :)“
