They care for your pet and answer all your questions. The text service is pretty fast and it's not hard to get into in an emergency situation during operating hours. They communicate expense giving you the best options for you and your babies. My Bosco and Bandit love drs and are always happy to see the staff. I switched here after my late Springer Rowdie fell ill and my old vet said it would be 2 weeks to see him. They got him in and seen within a few days and treated him with love and compassion until his last days. They helped me keep him comfortable and calm. They provide top a notch educated care team!
We are from Arizona visiting our son in Poplar Grove. On a Saturday morning our dog got very sick , puking, dizzy could not stand. This vet office was the only one nearby that had office hours on a Saturday that would take us. Although Dr Probst was very nice. He scared us with possibilities of what our dog issue was. A stroke, seizure, or tumor. He gave our dog a shot of valium and gave us some valium pills to administer when we were back at our son's house later. The valium made our dog so loopy ( 85# dog) which was difficult to carry him. They referred us to a 24 hour emergency vet clinic for imaging in Rockford. My sweet Mia had an abdominal hernia, and after calling around, I was overwhelmed by the cost—most places quoted me several thousand dollars and wanted a few hundred just for a consultation.
