I had my bariatric surgery at university of Iowa in August 2012 when Dr Cheregi was doing his bariatric fellowship. He had a great bedside manner and tolerated my warped sense of humor. He was the doc who did my post surgery follow ups. Amazing doc. Highly recommend

It's never an easy decision when it comes to major surgery, so I hesitated a lot and did a lot of research. It's been about 9 months since my surgery and I still feel like I made the best decision. The team at Advanced Bariatrics are genuinely invested in helping people, they held my hand through every process, every form, every payment, every provider I came in contact with. I cannot say enough about how well and how kindly I was treated in the hospital when I was recovering and the surgery was done so well that I was able to just go home the next day.
