I had the good fortune to go to the Glenview IBJI walk-in clinic when Dr. Lettvin was there. I had been in a great deal of pain in my hip and knee. He correctly identified the source of the pain right away and wrote me a prescription on the spot for an MRI. When the MRI report came back, he took the time to personally call me and explain the findings with clear instructions on how to manage it. I think that was so kind and caring! He helped me get the ball rolling to get it taken care of -- which will be significant surgery. I consider myself lucky to have walked in to the clinic when he was there. I appreciated his demeanor, knowledge, clarity, and concern.
The doctor and the staff were attentive and warm. Always hard to be there with an injury so it’s comforting to be attended to timely. Appreciate the detailed explanation of my injury and plan for follow up. The doctor was also not one to rush into a surgery when it may noo not be a good option.
