Katelyn (the salon owner) was amazing! I had a rather stressful day that made me late to my appointment and she was so understanding especially since I kept her updated the entire time. Katelyn took me from an ugly faded box dye black and gave me my vibrant red back. And I’m obsessed. She didn’t shame me for using box nor did she give me any grief about not having a much needed haircut for over a year. She made me feel welcome and beautiful ?

I booked Katelyn for an upcoming pageant for two girls for the entire weekend. I just booked hair for the weekend. Katelyn was very reasonably priced. I was awful with communicating due to personal things going on. Katelyn was so very kind and not once was unprofessional. I can not wait to come back and do an update with photos!

10/10 recommend all the ladies at root 28! Katelyn does wonders with hair, Mandy with makeup. I met these girls after struggling to find a hair/makeup artist for my wedding and I'm so happy that I did ? I can tell they absolutely love doing what they do and they are so knowledgeable/passionate about it. I will NEVER go back to anyone but Katelyn
