I just want to share my recent experience with State Farm and their shady business practices. I had wind and hail damage last February. I have spent over a year fighting with State Farm. I was so fortunate to work with Nick Ciway with Expert Roofing. They sent an agent to come look at the roof, that has never been on a roof and didn’t have proper shoes, then I asked for a 2nd inspection, they said no. I wrote to the Illinois Department of Insurance, and that was waste of time. Finally Nick said that State Farm was going into class action litigation and the best way to get through to them was to file an appeal. Once we did that a whole new ball game! They sent out an appraiser and so did Nick, both appraisers walked the roof and came down wondering why it got to this point. My roof was really damaged and they wrote for full replacement. Well, it took almost two years, but I’m getting a new roof! You have to fight and advocate today. I am so lucky too have Nick Ciway from Expert Roofing, he truly is an expert!
Expert Roofing is by far the best company to work with. We worked directly with Austin on replacement of our roof and siding and when I say Austin is the hardest worker I’ve ever met, I truly mean that. Austin went so far above and beyond to make sure that our roof and siding was done perfectly. Austin worked with our insurance company and did not give up even when it got a bit tough. Austin is the most honest and reliable person you could ever work with and when it comes to your property, this is obviously so important. I highly recommend Expert Roofing and Austin!
We had Expert Roofing do our shop 1.5 years ago and we were very pleased. When it was time for new roofs on our house and gazebo, we gave Tony another call and he did a fantastic job in helping pick out the right colors. Tony communicated every step of the way which is very important for big projects. Very happy!! Thanks!
