The previous homeowner advised me that North Idaho Lock and Key were the only locksmith that had the ability to cut copies of the strange key. After contacting them I forwarded photos and measurements and then dropped one of my keys off with them. A couple of days later they advised me that they could not even obtain key blanks, and it looked like I would have to replace the entire front door. This would have been a shame. After some research they offered to see if Schlage offered a compatible key cylinder. Long story short, the custom Schlage cylinder worked perfectly, and we did not have to replace the door. It took some time, as the cylinder had to be made and shipped. Once it arrived they keyed it while I waited, and I was able to install it without having to incur a charge for a home visit. I am extremely impressed with the effort and time that they invested in helping me with a viable solution.“
