“My mom passed away a few weeks ago and it's the first time I've lost someone close to me. Needless to say, it's been traumatic in every way possible. Everyone at Lakeview Funeral Home made us feel like family and they made the whole process as smooth as it could be.

When I realized that the end was horribly near and I needed to make some pre-arrangements, that first phone call with Bart made me feel immediately at ease. He answered all my questions and made sure that I would have all the necessary paperwork ready. Then that horrible night, at 3:00 in the morning, Bart and Dan came into our home like angels. Not only did they take care of my mom and transport her with care and reverence, they made the bed and left a rose on her pillow with the most beautiful poem that I have read at least a hundred times in the last few weeks.

I can't say enough good things about Kate. When we came into the office for the final arrangements, she was soft-spoken, understanding and patient. After that first meeting, she sent emails nearly every day with updates of the whole process. And whenever I had questions or problems, she took care of them IMMEDIATELY. From a typo in the obituary, to removing hostile comments from a vengeful family member. Kate is simply one of the most amazing people, period.

When it was time to pick up paperwork and the urn, Audrey was just as sweet and wonderful as everyone else we'd worked with. She knows just the right things to say to make you feel more comfortable and understood in your grief. Truly another angel.
